Library Services during the Coronavirus Suspension

Library Closed

With the University suspending face-to-face classes, the Library will be closed until further notice. However, library staff will continue to provide support remotely.  Continue to watch this page for updates.


Databases and online resources

All of the Library’s online resources (databases, eBooks, TOPCAT) will be available. See login information below.


Physical materials from the Cardinal Stritch University Library and any of the  SWITCH Libraries will not be available during the suspension.

Films on Demand

Thousands of high-quality educational videos in dozens of subject areas, all viewable online. Access here.


The Library’s two eBook collections contain thousands of books which can be read online via your web browser.

ILLiad Interlibrary Loan

The ILLiad Interlibrary Loan service will continue to be available for requesting articles and book chapters as these can be delievered electronically.  Physical books will not be available via interlibrary loan.

Accessing resources remotely

To access the Library’s resources from off-campus, sign-in using your Cardinal Stritch University username and password. You do not need to enter the suffix "" or "" to your username.

Renewing Items / Overdue Materials

If you have any materials due during the suspension, you can renew them online via TOPCAT. If you encounter any issues renewing items, email and a staff member will respond.
